I'm so glad you're here! Before I get to know you, I'd like to share a little about what brought me to your screen. One of the first fond memories I have as a child was grabbing a blanket and plopping on the floor in front of the "picture drawer" of the cabinet in the living room. I would spend hours looking at all the pictures in envelopes, I think I loved being able to relive moments whenever I wanted to. I did this repeatedly, I was always fascinated with film, pictures and camera's even at that young age. I grew up being very artistic and imaginative, my favorite things were dancing, gymnastics, writing and animals. These strengths led me to a Bachelors degree in both Dance and English while being a hobby photographer in the background. I had a successful run with my first business as a dance studio proprietor, but I was ready to pursue more passions. I moved to Ithaca and started a 10 year career as an emergency veterinary assistant. My lifelong love of animals matured into the most rewarding and difficult experience of my life, but I grew and learned so many invaluable things about myself that shaped who I am today. While I loved having such a vital role in little furry lives, the growing awareness that I was missing the artistic part of myself weighed heavily on me. I had no creative outlet and I knew I needed it back in my life in some form.

I met the man I knew I was going to marry on April Fools day 2017...yup, seriously! That was solidified after realizing we drove the same car and literally share the same exact birthday! In 2018, I said "yes" to his fairytale proposal on a castle balcony and we were married the following year. The wedding planning experience changed the outlook of my future. One of the highlights was the journey with our wedding photographer. I was determined to turn our experience into something positive and purposeful by making sure no other couple experienced what we did. It encouraged me to realize that I was about to transform what I always viewed as a hobby into my profession!

The challenges and changes of 2020 have only fueled my fire to pursue a future focusing on things that make me happy and allow me to share my creativity. Along with building my photography business, I am also a bridal consultant and stylist. And of course, I still keep my love of animals alive while volunteering at a local cat shelter. I now thrive on surrounding myself with love, happiness, passion and growth!

Let's make this a little easier! Here are a few of my favorite things...

Popcorn

I have been a obsessed with popcorn since I was a toddler! Plain ole butter flavor made on the stove is my favorite. I don't share!

Cats

My love of animals developed into a specific passion for cats while working in veterinary medicine. My favorite kitty of course...my fur daughter, Kiki Leigh.

My Husband

My best friend, my cheerleader, my support and my comic relief! Fun fact - I knew he was the one when he showed up at my door with a bucket of popcorn straight from the movie theater (yup, just like in the photo to the left)! I'm still not sure how I got so lucky!

Oceans

I love the water and I'm particularly drawn to the infinity of the horizon, the aroma, the brightness of the air and of course, the breathtaking views.

Castles

I love the stonework, structure, history and romance of castles. I was proposed to on the balcony of Belhurst Castle and later married at Greystone Castle!

Hiking

I enjoy being outside any time of year. I especially like trail and mountain hiking. I've even conquered a bunch of Adirondack high peaks, including Mount Marcy and Whiteface!
